The so called 'Apex Body' of the Kannada cinema industry, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, has now gone under technical renovation. As a major move, the current President of KFCC, BasanthkumarPatil, has disclosed that the producers who run around to get sanctions and clearances will not have much hassles hence forth, as everything will be made online.

"Before my departure from the seat in September, I will make a few more good channges for the Kannada Film Industry" said Basanthkumar Patil, at a media conference in the tiny hall in Bangalore City Institute. He assured that the 'Anti Goonda Act' to tackle piracy would be approved. He further promised that other major problems of the exhibitors would be solved in consultation with the government.

Basanthkumar Patil also took a mild dig at actors for not turning up at the audio release. BasanthkumarPatil released the audio album of 'Mr Duplicate', a Kannada film, on Monday night.
