Being the thorough professional that she is, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan kept her word and attended the Cannes Film Festival despite the piled up weight post maternity. 

The actress who gave birth to her daughter Aaradhya a couple of months ago, claims that life has always been hectic, hence the baby cannot be blamed for that. 

Aishwarya, who walked the red carpet for the official film premieres, exclaimed that she has enjoyed every phase of life and hence motherhood is no different, "Hectic is redefined with every changing phase of my life but it is just blissful, it (motherhood) is amazing and I am just so happy," she said. 

She further added that it is not the baby that has made her life hectic, it has been the life of all the professionals who multi task all the time, "I am not complaining, this has been the way of life for so long now. From your adult life, from the time you have stepped out and get working, multi-tasking, working round the clock. People talk about sleepless nights but that's the way of life for us anyway. Can't be complaining when it comes to your baby!!! No way, no way," concluded Ash.
