'Padmaavat' actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput welcomed their second child and this time its a baby boy. Just before the news made headline, Mira was snapped with Shahid for a dinner date but was suddenly rushed to Hinduja Hospital yesterday.

The Hospital official informed that the mother-son are doing well. Shahid had announced the second pregnancy in the most adorable way on social media in April. They had shared a photo of daughter Misha Kapoor with 'Big Sister' written next to her. The couple was congratulated by many.

Alia Bhatt shared the couples pic and wrote congratulations my loves! With a neon font and a loud text that says "Its a Boy" tagging both Shahid and Mira's Instagram handle.

Whereas Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor's wife Pragya Yadav who recently gave birth to their second child as well wished the couple with a heartwarming message.

While Preity Zinta tweeted, ''Congratulations @shahidkapoor & Mira on the new addition to the family. So Happy for both of you. Loads of love, happiness and diapers always... TiTing!babyboy #Happiness #Love''

Meanwhile Shahid is awaiting for his upcoming film 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' which is slated to release on September 21.
