Ashton Kutcher is thankful for his family and friends.
A host of stars have taken to their Twitter accounts to express their joy about Thanksgiving.
Although Demi Moore recently announced she is divorcing Ashton, the actor still believes he has a lot to be grateful for.
"I'm thankful for family, friends, you, & time to reach my potential. What are you thankful for?" he asked his Twitter followers.
Many other celebrities are staying at home to spend time with their loved ones.
La Toya Jackson was excited to be driving home to her family feast.
"On my way to have a Great Dinner with my Family!!!!! (sic)" she wrote.
Denise Richards and Tori Spelling have both created sumptuous dinners with the help of their children.
Denise asked her six and seven year old daughter to lay the table and tweeted accompanying photos.
"Sami setting the chargers," she wrote. "Lola hard at work rolling napkins."
Tori has made the traditional American dessert pumpkin pie.
Despite her kids only being four and three years old, the star insisted they have been very useful.
"Baking pumpkin pie now. Liam&Stella are very good helpers. I made a homemade overlapping star pie crust. Let's see how it turns out...(sic)" she said.
Kelly Osbourne was also looking forward to gorging on turkey. Although, she was slightly worried about the huge calorie intake.
"May my turkey be plump and my meal so delicious that my pies take the prize! god please make Thanksgiving dinner Stay off my thighs ;) " she rhymed. "'Thanksgiving is America's national chow-down feast, the one occasion each year when gluttony becomes a patriotic duty.' - Michael Dresser," she quoted.
However, designer Marc Jacobs had a few words of warning about the holiday.
With so many people on the roads trying to get home, he advised drivers to be extra careful.
"If you're traveling today, be safe and be good to each other out there (sic)" he wrote.
