(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ashton Kutcher's Two and a Half Men colleagues think he and Demi Moore are "cute" after the pair hosted a surprise party last week.

Ashton is the latest addition to the hit comedy show, and will portray internet billionaire Walden Schmidt when the new season returns in the US this September.

An insider has told Us Weekly how Ashton and his Hollywood actress wife Demi threw an unexpected "first day party" for all members of staff after the hunk's first day of filming wrapped on Friday.

A source revealed that Ashton and Demi were "both cute together and friendly with everyone". Apparently the actor was "buying drinks" for all the guests in the back room at West Hollywood hotspot The Troubadour.

Ashton has famously replaced troubled actor Charlie Sheen as the show's star. Charlie was fired from the programme earlier this year, after a dispute with producer Chuck Lorre and controversial antics in his private life. His character Charlie Harper is being killed off, with a funeral scheduled to take place in the first episode of the new season.

According to the source, crew members are enjoying getting to know the laidback new addition to the cast.

"Everybody is loving Ashton on the set," beamed the insider. "He's really coming off like a cool low maintenance guy, and with everything that went down with Charlie everyone is breathing a sigh of relief.

"He jokes with the crew, has no tantrums, he comes in well studied in his lines - it's such a nice change. So far there have been no issues and everyone is really happy with how it's working out.
