Finally, the producers of AGS Entertainment have made official announcements that 'Avan Ivan' will hit screens on April 14 while audio launch of the movie 'll be by mid of March. The film is directed by National Award Winner Bala and is produced by Kalpathi S Agoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner name of AGS Entertainment. According to actor Vishal, he has affirmed that 'Avan Ivan' will be a great turning point in his career. The first look posters of the film have intensified the curiosity levels of the masses. The film has Arya and Vishal playing lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has experimented striking chords on folk genres as it was before in Bala's 'Nanda' and Ameer's 'Paruthiveeran'.
