They say every hard work is worth the effort and time, and when it comes to 'Barfi' the film is finally getting its due results back to back. 

The film took more than a year to complete, and now that it is on the verge of its release, one after another good news has been bringing glory to the team. 

First, the promos and the songs of the film got an overwhelming response, then it got selected for Busan international film festival and now it is confirmed that the film has got a clean chit from the censor board. 

The film was recently presented before the censor board for certification and it was bestowed with 'U' certificate, which is quite rare to get in this age. 

On achieving this feat, director Anurag Basu happily shared the good news on his microblogging page, "Just got the censor certificate, 'Barfi!' is my first U certificate film," wrote Basu who previously has made 'A' and 'U/A' rated films.

The film slated to release on September 14 is about a full of life deaf-mute boy played by Ranbir Kapoor and an autistic girl played by Priyanka Chopra. It also stars debutant Ileana D'cruz as Ranbir's onscreen love interest.
