Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania starrer 'Veere Di Wedding' is a flick releasing on June 1 and going by trailer itself the film looks like a journey of four life-long friends accompanying a friend's wedding. However, not a great news for its makers as the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted it an 'A' certificate.
The major reason for an adult certification can be owing to its use of swear words. Rhea Kapoor, the co-producer of the film said, "So far we have had no problem with the Censor Board. I don't want to talk more about it because we still have not gotten the Censor (certificate) in our hands. Once we get it, we will issue a proper press release."
Talking about choosing this film Kareena explained, ''It's about four women at different stages of love in their lives. One is getting married, one divorced, one is already married with issues, and the other is commitment phobic. It is different space for me to be a part of and a fun film. People are used to me seeing me in big-budget movies, like the ones with the Khans. This story is different as it’s about four women. I wanted to be part of this world.''
Bankrolled by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi, the film also features Sumeet Vyas opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. So catch up this crazy wedding fiesta on June 1.
