The year 2012 started off with Katrina Kaif's grooves and moves in the item song 'Chikni Chameli' that is remembered by all till date. The song from 'Agneepath' starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra was the official item song of the year.

Now, as the year comes to an end, there will be another superstar who will be challenging Katrina. Yes, we are talking about Kareena Kapoor who is all set to burn the dance floor with her item song 'Fevicol' in 'Dabangg 2'.

Once again, starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, this movie will be filling in the slot that was occupied by Malaika Arora Khan's 'Munni Badnam Hui' in 'Dabangg'. Though Malaika will also be seen performing in the movie, she will not have a solo act unlike Kareena.

Talking about Katrina vs Kareena, 'Chikni Chameli' was an instant hit as Katrina was seen in a complete desi look. The tune of the song and Kaif's sensational dance steps were enough to make the song hugely popular.

On the other hand, Kareena was also seen in the item number 'Halkat Jawani', which didn't quite stand out, like her previous number 'Chammak Challo' from last year which is still remembered.

Anyway, Kareena still has another chance to go with 'Fevicol' that can be added to her chartbuster for this year. Not to forget, the song is choreographed by Farah Khan and Bebo has given it her full attention.

The song will be out a few days prior to the movie's release that is December 21.

Now, it has to be seen if 'Fevicol' will beat the likes of 'Chikni Chameli' as the number one item number of the year.
