Be it an action-packed film or a comedy filled entertainment, Akshay Kumar can play any role at any time. In the year 2010, Akki conned the cast of 'Tees Maar Khan' and robbed a train carrying items worth lakhs. His performance as a con man was very convincing and the audiences seem to have liked it.
It is now heard that Akshay Kumar will play the same role once again in his next titled 'Special Chabbis'. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Akki will be seen with South actress Kajal Agarwal.
The film, which has Akshay playing the lead role, is based on a real-life heist. 'Special Chabbis' brings to light a real-life incident that occurred on March 19, 1987. An unknown man posing as a CBI officer got 26 men to raid a jewellery store in Opera House, Mumbai. They walked away with jewellery worth lakhs and left the jewellers across Zaveri Bazaar shocked.
'Tees Maar Khan' managed to make its share of money, but the movie didn't go down well among the critics. Hopefully, with 'Special Chabbis', Akshay will manage to deliver a hit. The fill is almost complete and is touted to release by early next year.
