Britains Prince William will wed his fiance Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey in London today, with the ceremony set to begin at 11am.
The couple have invited 1,900 guests to watch them say their vows, and people have been arriving for the historic occasion since 8am this morning.
Among those to have taken their places are David and Victoria Beckham. David became friends with William after they worked together on Englands soccer World Cup bid last year.
There has been intense speculation about what fashion designer Victoria who is seven months pregnant would wear to the event, and proving rumours correct she opted for one of her own creations.
The star donned a flowing black dress which glided over her growing baby bump. She accessorised with a black Philip Treacy hat worn over tied back hair. The milliner is understood to have created 36 hats for the wedding.
Victorias soccer star husband opted with a Ralph Lauren bespoke suit, which the designer has admitted has crocodile detail on the braces.
David also wore a medal on his right lapel, believed to be the OBE (Order of the British Empire) he received for services to football in 2003. Such medals are usually placed on the left-hand side, but David chose the opposite where items one by a wearers father are normally placed.
Williams brother Prince Harry is to act as his best man today, and his on/off girlfriend Chelsy Davy has also been spotted. She was wearing an emerald green Alberta Ferretti dress.
London mayor Boris Johnson and film director Guy Ritchie have arrived, as has royal family friend Tara Palmer-Tomkinson who chose a tight electric-blue ensemble complete with towering hat. Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish have also been spotted.
There is still no news about who has created Kates wedding gown, although speculation Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton is behind it has reached new heights after she was spotted leaving The Goring Hotel last night, where Kate was staying. (C) Cover Media
