Ben Affleck was freaking out about turning 40 until Morgan Freeman calmed him down.
The actor has been busy promoting his latest movie Argo, which he directed and also stars in.
Ben celebrated his fortieth birthday in August, but needed a little help from his older counterpart Morgan, 75.
"I ran into Morgan Freeman somewhere and said, Sh*t, Morgan, I'm turning 40' and he said, Boy, you're just coming into your prime!" the actor explained to Total Film.
"I thought, Maybe it's bulls**t but I feel like if Morgan said it, it's probably true!"
Ben and his wife Jennifer Garner have both enjoyed longstanding Hollywood careers, with Jennifer starring in upcoming film Butter.
The actor says their jobs have allowed them to make some great contacts.
"I have some really wonderful friends, I know I'm really lucky," he gushed.
"I've gotten to know George Clooney better on this movie [he produced Argo] and never met anybody as smart about Hollywood as George. And Matt [Damon] has moved back to LA and lives down the street from me, so now I see him all the time, bringing the kids back and forth with our wives there too."
