(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Beyonc Knowles' parents are officially single again after 31 years of marriage.

Mathew and Tina Knowles' divorce was finalised in a Texas court last month according to documents obtained by TMZ.

Tina, 57, had originally filed to end the marriage in November 2009 but the matter was dropped when neither of them showed up to court.

But she refiled again on August 30 of this year and the final decree was issued in November.

Tina said in the legal documents that the marriage was "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities" which "prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."

However, the original divorce filing came one month after Mathew, 60, was hit with a paternity suit by Alexsandra Wright, claiming that he had fathered her child.

Although he initially denied the claim, a DNA test proved that he was indeed the father of the little boy, Nixon.

Mathew was instrumental in his superstar daughter's career and was her manager until she fired him in March.

Tina was the stylist for Beyonc's group Destiny's Child throughout their success as the biggest female group of its time and co-created fashion line House of Dereon with her daughter, who is expecting her first baby next year with rapper husband Jay-Z.

The former couple also have another daughter Solange, 25, who is mother to their seven-year-old grandchild, Julez. (C) Cover Media
