The makers of 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' are out with two official posters. One has Shahid Kapoor on the rooftop raising his hand sky high and shouting for revolution wearing his stylish shades on. This time Shahid is in a local small town look.
While the next poster talks about revolution and gives the details of dropping the film's official trailer tomorrow on 10th August at 12:30 pm. In an outline decorated bulb design, the poster reads, ''Fused bulb se Kranti nahi layi ja sakti.'' The Padmaavat actor shared the movie poster via his official twitter handle and captioned it, "Feeling on top of the world! Kal se trailer chalu. #BattiGulMeterChalu @ShraddhaKapoor @divyenndu @yamigautam @TSeries @bgmcfilm #BhushanKumar @ShreeNSingh @KuttiKalam."
While Shraddha Instagrammed the poster and captioned, ''It's current! It's light! It's shocking! #BattiGulMeterChalu #BGMCPoster Trailer out on Friday at 12:30 pm.''
Batti Gul Meter Chalu is about bringing the social issue of electricity shortage to the notice of people and to encourage authorities to investigate the inaccuracies of electricity bills. Earlier the film's shoot was delayed due to a legal matter between Prernaa Arora's KriArj Entertainment and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series. After much ado, the film finally went on floors in February this year and it has been produced by Bhushan Kumar.
The film also features Yami Gautam in pivotal role. Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh, it will hit the screens on September 21.
