Regardless of the fact that Bollywood veterans Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi are not in their heydays, the popularity enjoyed by the two remains untouched. Both the superstars have beaten all the leading stars of today to top the popularity charts that was declared by the Vuclip Icons of the Year 2012 survey.

While Big B got 43 per cent share of votes, Sridevi has beaten the likes of Kareena Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif and the others to clinch the top spot.

Amitabh has been an active part of the Hindi film industry for all these years, while Sridevi's sudden plunge after her comeback film 'English Vinglish' proves that she has always been there.

Both the stars have thanked their fans for showering unconditional love on them. Apart from them A. R. Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Aditya Chopra topped the charts for their respective fields too.
