A picture of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan having a hearty meal with actor Prabhu and his family recently went viral on social networking sites.

There was a heavy buzz about the picture that the meal was served in golden utensils. However, Amitabh refuted all the rumours and clarified the air around the buzz by sharing Prabhu's comments on his blog which read, "Shri Amitabh Bachchan, was visiting our home for the first time after our father, Shri Sivaji Ganesan's passing.The visit of Mr.Bachchan was very special to our family. He came home to pay respect to my father and spend time with our family. It was a traditional,vegetarian lunch. It was served on banana leaves on copper coloured plates and utensils.The plates and vessels are not gold as some people are making them out to be.It was a very sentimental occasion for us.Please don't try to turn this special occasion into a joke." 

Big B also didn't stay behind and shared some of own thoughts and said, "Clarifications in today's times if not done, tend to be treated as a given fact. I would not have considered this, but I think that with the kind of facilities available in the communication medium, it is imperative that we utilise this opportunity to give perhaps a clearer picture."
