Veteran bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan took a moment and shared a picture on the internet that includes Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor along with Shehanshah himself as they prep up for their upcoming feature film 'Brahmastra'. Big B shared a picture on Instagram that captions, "Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan and yours truly at look test for BRAHMASTRA .. cool .. shoot starts next month .. with Alia too .. a joy to be with this incredible young generation..” The team will start shooting for the film in March."

This highly anticipated Sci-fi adventure fantasy will be bankrolled by Dharma Productions along with Fox Star Studios and Namit Malhotra, CEO of Prime Focus for Brahmastra. Going on floors from next month, the film marks a release date of August 15, 2019.

Speaking about the plot of the film Ayan the director of the film earlier said, "This film is a modern day film. It is set in India as it exists today but the name of the film is 'Brahmastra' because the energy, wisdom and powers in the film come from ancient India. As far as costumes are concerned, there are some which may not be the way you would expect them to be."

The very first flick of Ayan's fantasy adventure trilogy that seems exciting due to its amazing cast. Brahmastra also features Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy in major roles.
