(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Billy Ray Cyrus is eager to make a Hannah Montana sequel so that he can re-grow his mullet.

The 49-year-old singer-and-actor, who is father to Disney sensation Miley, famously starred alongside his daughter in the hit show, which was made into Hannah Montana: The Movie back in 2009.

Billy Ray admits he would love to act with Miley again, although he accepts that the 18-year-old would be portraying a more mature character now.

"You know, there's wonderful buzz right now for a prequel to Hannah Montana," he enthused.

"I know Miley couldn't step back and be that little girl, but I could get my mullet back real quick."

Miley was spotted at the weekend shopping in Sydney, Australia, with on/off boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The hunk, who is currently shooting The Hunger Games, took time out to visit Miley as she is touring Down Under.

Billy Ray has nothing but approval for his daughter's choice in companion, and took the time to praise Liam's talents. He also took the time to express his enthusiasm for The Hunger Games.

"He's a great guy," Billy Ray told E! Online. "He's solid. He's got great character."

"Have you read that script? The script is killer, and Liam is going to knock it out of the park. He's a tremendous talent." (C) Cover Media
