Aware of the growing competition in the Industry circles, Bollywood's dusky beauty Bipasha Basu knows what her position on the competition scale is. She has had a successful decade long run in Bollywood as she has impeccably managed to carve a niche for herself.
Though she has had two back to back flops in the name of 'Players' and 'Jodi Breakers', she is extremely optimistic and unfazed by it.
"It's all part of the game," said the smiling beauty who is gearing for the release of her next 'Raaz 3'.
She who in the past had confessed losing plum roles when she was in a relationship, claims that she is looking forward to make up for her loss, "Yes, when I took that break I was in a relationship. After the break, I realized that it was tough and newer entrants had made their positions stronger in Bollywood. I was no longer excited about being a decorative piece in films," said Bips who now wants to do a 'Nicole Kidman' or 'Vidya Balan' kind of meatier role.
"I would love to do all the movies that preferably a Nicole Kidman has done. Even if the actresses in '100 crore' films are criticized for being there for item numbers I feel it's not fair. In this industry, the going is harder for the female actors. Let us be honest, everyone is vying for a 'Dirty Picture' role," said Bipasha.
