The 'Kaabil' actor turned a year older today and to make his 44th birthday special, a warm loveable wish came from ex-wife Sussanne Khan's Instagram post. She uploaded an adorable selfie with Hrithik on his birthday, "Forever and always you stay the sunshine in my life.. Happy happiest birthday... smile that smile brightest and u always will spread that light... limitless #sacredheart (sic)."

Sussanne's selfie with Hrithik looks like a vacation click from France. Though it is difficult to guess whether Hrithik and Sussanne toured with kids - Hrehaan, 11, and Hridhaan, 9 - to the French vacation, Sussanne was saving up this special photo for the big day.

Sussanne posted the pic just after 12 midnight and the photo has taken the internet by storm. Some even asked why they had to part ways. "Then why you guys are no longer together," read a comment while another added: "You both look so beautiful together."

However, they were divorced officially in 2014, the duo continues to trend for their togetherness even after splitting up.
