The 23-year-old actress is famous for playing Serena van der Woodsen in the US teen drama Gossip Girl alongside Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr. As well as being praised for her acting abilities, Blake has emerged as a style and beauty icon, and her tousled blonde hairstyle is said to be one of the most-requested by customers in hair salons.

Blake says she too wanted to emulate celebrities when she was younger, and revealed she tried to copy Jennifers famous layered hairstyle when it was popular in the 90s.

I remember being a kid and wanting my hair to look like hers. I was too young to copy it properly but I had layers, she told More! magazine.

The actress says being a beauty icon is flattering, adding she was extremely shocked when she discovered more people nowadays request her hairstyle than they do Jennifers.
