The 23-year-old actress has become one of Americas biggest fashion icons since she shot to fame playing Serena van der Woodsen in the hit television series Gossip Girl.

The slender fashionista revealed shes happy to shun certain trends if they dont flatter her figure and argues many women could look as good as her if they learnt to understand their own body.

You wear what fits your body. Thats it with fashion. So many people wear whats in style or whats cool. I just look at it and say, What looks good on me? she told the British edition of Marie Claire.

Blake also spoke out about the rumours she was offered $2.5 million to pose nude for the mens magazine Playboy. The starlet insists the story was made up, and says when she heard about it her first thoughts were for her family, especially her aunt, as she knows how they still consider her to be their little girl.

Its weird to me that people will just make up rumours. When someone creates a story thats not true the first thing I think is my aunt, who I love so much and I would never want her to hear that you know, My little Blakey, said the actress. (C) Cover Media
