Blake Lively: I want 30 kids

11th September 2012

Blake Lively dreams of having a "big family of 30 children".

The actress spoke about her desire to have a large brood in an interview conducted before her reported nuptials with Ryan Reynolds on Sunday.

The Gossip Girl star is yet to confirm the wedding and spoke to Allure magazine about her secretive side a-month-and-a-half before she tied the knot.

"I've always wanted a big family. Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could," Blake revealed. "I'm a very shy person, I can be outgoing, but I'm also very private."

Blake is naturally a homebody. The actress explained that settling down is something that comes naturally to her.

"I don't drink. I've never tried a drug. [In clubs] the music is so loud, you can't have a conversation with somebody," Blake complained. "If I were an amazing dancer, yeah, I'd go, but I'm definitely not. It's not like I decided on these strict lifestyle choices and I'm enforcing them. It's just something that I genuinely don't have a desire for."

Blake and Ryan managed to pull off a top secret wedding at the weekend. Keeping to her private persona, Blake swore all the guests to secrecy including the wedding singer and close friend Florence Welch.

Kacie Faulling - a hair and make-up artist based in Charleston, South Carolina, where the wedding took place - spoke to the Florence + the Machine singer before her big performance.

"[She was] very nervous," Kacie told People. "Florence said [she was singing] for a good friend and this was her wedding gift for the bride and groom... She said she performs all the time, but she was performing at the wedding and she got nervous because it was for a friend."
