Bollywoods Most Over Estimated Stars: Huge Amounts Shelled Out

18th January 2011

January 18, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Bollywood is an industry that is well known to spoil their top notch stars up to a hilt and giving them enormous amounts of mullah, irrespective of the fact whether their majority of films keep flopping or not. Once a star achieves the status in tinsel town, he is bound to get slotted in a particular bracket and every film maker on the go gets geared up to shell the huge amounts of money demanded by these stars.

However, do our stars actually deserve all the adulation and the fuss that is made over them and then showered with mind blowing amounts that could take a lifetime for any ordinary man to earn or perhaps even that wouldnt be enough.

Well, considering the power that these stars achieve and films getting their dues as early as in the first few weeks of release as long as there is at least one star in it. Whos complaining? The film makers are happy to get more than they shelved in, the stars are happy as they can finance their high placed life styles with the most modern hi tech cars and plush lifestyle, the fans of these stars get a glimpse of their favorite stars and some just on that pretext go to catch on a movie, so its a perfect win- win situation here.

However, despite all this the question that lurks is do these top notch stars like Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt or even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan deserve getting such high pay packets even if it means total loss for the producers? Well it seems like stars will always get what they demand, after all a star is not made every day!

With the trend of the star power getting more and more popular, our Bollywood stars are always going to be in demand and therefore get what they command , thereby an over estimated or an underrated star are just terms that are used to debate at the table. Stars are stars and will remain so till tinsel town keeps running on like a happy child blessed with a lolly!
