The advance reservation for the film 'Mugamoodi' which stars Jiiva in the lead role, began yesterday.

This film has been directed by Mysskin also stars Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Narain, Nasar and other actors in cast. Kay has composed music for this film.

UTV has produced this high budgeted film. 'Mugamoodi' is being released throughout the world in 400 theatres on 31st August. This is supposed to be the first superhero film in Tamil. The advance booking for this film which began yesterday is going on in top gear.

Dhananjayan of UTV while speaking about Mugamoodi said, "The film Mugamoodi was produced keeping in mind the Tamil audience. One should not compare this film with Hollywood films which have extraordinary super heroes. Mugamoodi is a film which is based on Kung Fu arts. There are no magical powers in this film.
