Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoyed a late night date on Monday, it is emerging.
The Hollywood A-List couple had earlier walked the red carpet at the premiere of Angelina's directorial debut of her new film, In the Land of Blood and Honey.
Sources have told Life & Style that the parents to six children enjoyed their rare night of freedom and left their brood at home for the night.
The couple partied at the Boom Boom Room at The Standard Hotel in the Big Apple and enjoyed some down time together in the city that never sleeps.
"It was very cool outside, but that didn't stop Brad and Angie from heading to the rooftop and spending the entire evening there," an eyewitness told the site.
"Angie was sipping champagne and sneaking drags of cigarettes from her friends all night! Brad was smoking like a chimney."
The twosome apparently spent time apart, working the room and speaking to their guests but eventually made their way back to each other.
"They exchanged a loving hug and kiss," the insider added and said that Brad's parents, Jane and William Pitt, were also out for the night.
They had said how happy they were of Angelina's achievements earlier in the night as they accompanied the pair to the premiere.
"Brad's mom was very loving toward Angelina too," the source revealed. "You can tell Brad and his entire family are very proud of Angie."
Brad was apparently very attentive to his lady love's needs and made sure she had everything she wanted.
"She was happy with the champagne earlier in the night, but Brad knew what Angie really wanted," the source continued. "So he requested the cocktail waitress bring up a bottle of Tanbark Hill cabernet sauvignon for her to enjoy. He even refilled her glass several times."
"You could tell Brad knew Angelina has rarely had a night without work or the kids, so he wanted to make sure she could let loose and relax."
The couple were said to be in no hurry to get home and whilst most guests were asked to leave around 2.30am, the pair then moved downstairs and enjoyed some romantic time overlooking downtown Manhattan and finally left after 3.30am.
