(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Brigitte Nielsen was bemused when 30 people joined her and Sylvester Stallone on their honeymoon.

The 47-year-old Danish actress-and-singer was famously married to Hollywood icon Sylvester from between 1985 and 1987, and she often reflects on why their union didn't work out.

The star remembers looking forward to their post-wedding vacation together, although was shocked to discover a large entourage would be joining them on the romantic island of Hawaii.

"I remember the honeymoon, I thought, Hurray we are going to Hawaii!' But it was Sylvester and me and 30 other people including lawyers and agents, and I was like, What is this? I am a Danish Viking, I don't think I can get used to this'," she recalled to a UK television show.

Although her marriage to Sylvester was short-lived, Brigitte tries to take something positive from all her life experiences. She sees no point in dwelling on mistakes, and is glad to say she feels far wiser now than she did in her 20s.

"We gave it a shot and it didn't work out, but of course you have to go for it in life. I was only 23 when it was over.

"But I have learned a lot along the road and I would like to say that I am a person who has made tons of mistakes, but I would also like to say I have learned a lot from it and that is reason I find myself in a good place in life today," she smiled. (C) Cover Media
