BRING DOWN TICKET PRICE

13th February 2011
“The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce sleeping over issues that deserve good attention should be stopped. It is high time the Kannada films are handled with proper attention,” says producer, exhibitor and distributor N Kumar. N Kumar is having rights to talk like this because he has proved in his business in the last three decades producing 30 films, distributing 60 plus films and controlling 25 plus theatres. Today the only way to give counter attack to the IPL and World Cup cricket matches that is surely going to take the profits of all language films is reducing the ticket price in the theatres. “The pattern of interiors should be adopted in city areas. Instead of one person coming at least three persons could make it to the theatre from the same price per ticket,” says Kumar as an alternative measure.
