Ranbir wants to bring the Khans together

21st August 2014

Kapoor Scion Ranbir Kapoor has grand plans to revive the RK banner that was launched by his grandfather, actor cum filmmaker Raj Kapoor. He not only had plans to revive the banner but also make a short film on the life of the legendary star.

But now, he has suddenly decided to drop the idea as of now. He substantiates his decision with a reasonably good statement.

"After I said that, I began to think that a short film would be too small to tell about his (Raj Kapoor) life, it will take me 500 hours to do it," he smiles claiming that he would need a lot of time to decide on that.

But his dream to make a short film on an Indian superstar didn't die with this. After canning the idea of a short film on Raj Kapoor, he has now thought of making a short film on the three Khans of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

"But then I also began thinking on whom can I make a short film. Then I thought about an eight-minute short film where Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are sitting on a couch and only talking," he said.

The idea itself is a humongous one but Ranbir wants to keep it simple as he wants all the three to sit together and simply talk. With so many controversies and issues between the three, there never has been an instance where the three came together before the camera in one frame.

If Ranbir manages to convince the three, it will be the biggest coup that nobody has ever managed to pull off before. He states that their work and two decade long reign in the industry makes for a great subject for a short film.
