Britney Spears' boyfriend is reportedly planning to propose next month.

The singer has been dating Hollywood agent Jason Trawick for a couple of years. Marriage rumours have been circulating in recent months and it is believed they could be engaged by the end of the year.

The pair will focus on their future together once Britney's Femme Fatale world tour finishes in a few weeks.

"Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time. Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very, very long time," a Spears family insider tells RadarOnline.com.

"Jason adores her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Jason is planning on taking Britney on a secluded getaway once the tour wraps, and it's very likely he will pop the question at that time."

Jason has become close to Britney's two children and her parents.

The singer's father Jamie Spears is still in charge of her personal and professional affairs following her 2008 meltdown. If Britney does intend to marry Jason, there is a chance her conservatorship could finish.

"When Britney does get engaged, her father's attorneys will notify the judge in her conservatorship case," the source added. "It's extremely within the realm of possibility that the conservatorship will end, and then Britney will get married. It will be a very smooth transition.

"[Britney's family] are looking forward to the day that Jason will formally be a member of their family. Britney's mom and Jason are very close."

Britney has been married twice before.

Her infamous union with her childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander lasted just 55 hours, while she had two sons with her second husband Kevin Federline.
