(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears "can't wait" for her 30th birthday and will celebrate in a "spectacular" fashion.

The 29-year-old singer will reach the landmark age on December 2. She is ecstatic about reaching her thirties and is eager to celebrate reaching a new decade.

"I think the older you get, the wiser you get. I can't wait," Britney said to the British edition of Glamour magazine. "I'm really excited and I am definitely going to celebrate and do something spectacular. I'm going to be in South America so I'll have to do something pretty fun."

Britney is currently under the conservatorship of her father due to the singer's highly publicised mental breakdown in 2008. Britney is in the swing of her Femme Fatale tour and is happy in her relationship with former manager Jason Trawick.

Although things are going well, no one in her camp is eager to end the conservatorship in a hurry.

"The conservatorship won't be ending this year because everything is going well," a source said to RadarOnline. "Britney is on tour again, which she truly loves. This would be the worst time to make a change, while she is on the road, and is in unfamiliar surroundings."

While Britney's on tour she will squeeze time in her busy schedule to watch one show in particular. The American version of X Factor will premiere on September 21 and Britney is excited to hear what judge Simon Cowell says to contestants.

"I'll definitely watch it. I respect Simon's honesty," Britney said. "It's refreshing. But I couldn't be that honest." (C) Cover Media
