Britney Spears: I wish I'd slowed down

24th September 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears wishes she had "treasured" more special moments when she first found fame.

The singer became a worldwide star following the release of her iconic debut single Baby One More Time in 1999. Since then she has continued to release hit albums and also been through a lot in her personal life.

Britney has now revealed the advice she would give herself at the beginning of her career.

"I would probably say just have fun, take it slow, don't go too fast," she explained. "Make sure you treasure the moments."

During her career, Britney has been through two failed marriages and had two children. She also suffered a meltdown, resulting in her father being put in charge of her personal and professional affairs.

The 29-year-old star is now in a happy relationship with former agent Jason Trawick. There have been rumours Britney is considering tying the knot for a third time, and she admits she is happier than ever.

"I am in a very good place, I am busy, I am doing what I love, my family is great," she smiled. "I am finding my whole click with life."

Britney is currently on the road with her Femme Fatale tour.

She will celebrate her 30th birthday during the South American leg of shows, and is hoping to mark the special day in style.

"Yes I am. I am going to be on tour, so hopefully me and the dancers will get together and do something really spectacular," she revealed. "It is going to be fun." (C) Cover Media
