(Cover) - EN Star Style - Britney Spears wanted an "emo girl" look for her new music promo.

In the Chris Marrs Piliero-directed promo for her latest track I Wanna Go, Britney stands on a yellow taxi with cameramen surrounding her. The star looks gorgeous as she whips her microphone and uses it as weapon against the paparazzi and wears some rather unusual attire.

Britney wears a cut-off T-shirt depicting a skull with Mickey Mouse ears in the promo. The stunning star also has black and pink hair extensions running through her blonde locks.

The 29-year-old's stylist has revealed the inspiration behind her multi-coloured tresses.

"Britney was headed in the direction of 'emo girl.' All the colours came as a way to soften the bad girl image of the video but still keep it Britney," a stylist who worked on the star's hair told Us Weekly.

It has also been revealed that the star used clip-on extensions rather than bonded ones to save on time in the stylist's chair.
