(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears has revealed the first rehearsal for her Femme Fatale shows was "so electric".

The 29-year-old songstress released her seventh studio album of the same name in March of this year is set to kick off her tour on June 16.

Britney, who will perform in a variety of venues across North America and Canada, has begun rehearsals for the stage show and is buzzing from the energy.

"First day rehearsing on the Femme Fatale stage. So electric! (sic)" she wrote on her Twitter page.

The blonde star has embarked on some huge tours during her career, including the Oops!... I Did It Again World Tour in 2000 and The Circus Starring Britney Spears in 2009. However, Britney believes that her most recent album will produce the biggest series of shows she's ever been involved with.

"This is going to be the best show of my career (sic)", she added.

Nicki Minaj will join the singer on her highly-anticipated summer tour. The 26-year-old rapper is a huge Britney fan and has previously spoken of her excitement at seeing the seasoned performer on stage.

"I really want to see [Britney] in action," she told ET. "She's definitely an icon and I want to see what she does and how she moves the crowd and how she has managed to stay in the game this long and be relevant." (C) Cover Media
