The singers father Jamie Spears was one of the people put in charge of her personal and professional affairs after she was placed under a conservatorship following her 2008 meltdown.

As part of the arrangement, Jamie gives his 29-year-old daughter a set amount of money to spend each week. She is said to be growing tired of the arrangement, especially as he recently reduced her payments by 50%.

Jamie was incensed when he realised Britney had spent the staggering sum in just half an hour while perusing the internet, and is now keen for her to learn the value of money.

She is desperate to get out from under her frugal fathers court-ordered financial controls, reports National Enquirer.

Britney is said to find it unfair she doesnt have more access to her cash as she has worked so hard for it. The funds have built up thanks to her successful career as a recording artist, and she thinks she should be able to enjoy them. (C) Cover Media
