(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britt Ekland has had a tattoo etched above her pelvis ten years after work first began on the inking.

The 68-year-old actress is best known for appearing in 1974 James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun. Britt has always loved tattoos, but was too scared to get one when she was younger. She decided to take the plunge a decade ago, but had to call time on the process part way through as it was too painful.

Having that half-finished tattoo always bothered Britt, so as her 68th birthday approached in October, she manned up and went under the needle in West Hollywood, a source told National Enquirer. There were still a few shrieks and sobs, but she did it and shes thrilled.

The inking is of a beautiful red rose, and is etched just above the veteran actress pelvis bone.

First time round Britt couldnt stop crying and sobbing as it hurt so much, but as time went on she realised a small amount of pain was a tiny price to pay for getting artwork finished. (C) Cover Media
