Brooke Shields discusses intense' cosmetics

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Brooke Shields says her Broadway make-up is "intense".

The American actress-and-model is currently preparing to take over the role of Gothic seductress Morticia Addams in the Broadway musical The Addams Family on June 28.

The beauty has previously appeared in several theatre productions, including Grease as Betty Rizzo, the revival of Cabaret in 2001, and Chicago.

The 45-year-old star says she loves transforming her look with the theatre's elaborate make-up.

"It's a huge transformation, but that's the beauty also of Broadway: The wig is so beautiful and it's so natural looking, and the make-up is pretty intense," she told WWD.

Meanwhile, Brooke revealed the origin of the popular theatrical expression break a leg'. The stunning star laughed about the adage which is so popular among thespians.

"It comes from saying to someone, may there be such applause for you that you're forced to break the line of your leg and say thank you. When you bow or curtsy, you break the line of your leg a little tidbit," she laughed. (C) Cover Media
