(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cameron Diaz loves adventure films starring strong women.

The American actress confessed that her favourite film as a child was Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark, because she found the lead female character bold and inspirational.

Cameron admits the film never left her imagination and is the reason she now aspires to the same kind of roles. "My favourite movie as a kid was Indiana Jones and I loved the female character in that because she was strong and capable, explains Cameron. I love that sense of adventure and that will always be with me."

The 38-year-olds latest film is about a superhero called The Green Hornet, in a movie of the same name.

In the film Cameron plays a secretary called Lenore Case, who helps the Green Hornet and his martial arts expert sidekick Kato to fight crime.

However, an element of adventure isnt the only ingredient Cameron requires from a movie. She also believes humour is essential to keep the audience hooked.

"I just love making movies with that ingredient of action and comedy," she revealed. (C) Cover Media
