(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cee Lo Green says he hopes to fall in love after writing his album dedicated to the subject.

The singer-songwriter released his most recent album, The Lady Killer, in November of last year. Now the American star wants to find the girl of his dreams because of the amount of time he has dedicated to writing lovelorn lyrics for his album.

I got the opportunity to be wishful all throughout this album, and who knows, maybe Ive taken the first steps and initiated it and broken the ice, and maybe the gods will bring me that special girl as well. So I may end up finding a love of my own because of this album, he told Hip Hop Weekly.

The 36-year-old has previously described the record as mirroring a motion picture. Cee Lo confessed that the album was essentially the soundtrack to the screenplay hed written in his head. The talented musician admits that this approach was entirely different to anything hed recorded and written before.

The album's meant to be a motion picture, you know? I've never taken that approach to doing an album before, he has said of the album previously.

Cee Lo says that his genuine and intimate emotions are wrapped up in the album. His song I Want You, he says, is to encourage those types of feelings amongst people.

That song was about really trying to create and encourage that type of condition, or plant that seed in someone, because overall, these songs are kinda written as a narrative of something that I kinda live vicariously through. I took on the role of director and of course did the soundtrack to a movie I had written, he added. (C) Cover Media
