(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen reached a custody agreement with his estranged wife yesterday, but it is now reportedly off after he discussed it in public.
The troubled star has twins with Brooke Mueller, sons Bob and Max who are two later this month. Earlier this week she gained a temporary restraining order against him after claiming he had threatened violence, and she was awarded custody of the boys.
The former couple were due to go to court to discuss their children on Monday, but Charlie announced on social networking website Twitter in posts which have since been removed - that wouldnt be happening yesterday, saying an agreement was in place.
not sure what all the legal noise is about... just verbally reached a deal with B. no court mon. yay...., he wrote. et the opposition felt it necessary to still harass me with old gibberish.... odd? perhaps. transparent? you betcha'(sic)!
Charlie later went on the radio and told Wired96.5 in Philadelphia: We reached a deal. I can't say what it is obviously. But there's no court Monday, and there's some leftover something that they decided was important enough to bring to my attention with cops as delivery people.
I'm talking about opposing counsel sending some type of letter or notice in the friendly delivery system of our city's finest. It's alright, it's fine, whatever it is, it's fine. I'm not worried.
However, according to TMZ Charlies decision to discuss the deal means it will no longer be in place. One of the main terms was that the star wouldnt talk about any of the legal issues in public, meaning the pair will probably now be heading to court.
It is also thought that contrary to Charlies claims the deal was not a restoration of what had gone before. Instead, Brooke had agreed he was allowed to see the boys but only with another person present.
Charlie is thought to have spent most of yesterday talking about the custody case with his lawyers, and is said to be planning to show Brooke isnt a fit mother.
The star has caused concern with his increasingly erratic behaviour of late. His show Two and a Half Men had its current season cancelled after he ranted about its producer and the network it is aired on. He then gave a series of interviews blasting them, and insisting he has no substance abuse issues.
He won over a million followers on Twitter within 24 hours of joining the social networking website, and his sayings such as winning and tiger blood have become instant hits. (C) Cover Media
