Charlie Sheen calls his relationship with his father "solid".
The Anger Management star has patched things up with his dad, actor Martin Sheen. Charlie and Martin appeared side-by-side in an interview with ET Online. The pair spoke about their relationship and what is was like working together on an upcoming episode of Anger Management.
"[Our] relationship is solid," Charlie revealed. "We don't see the world the same way, but there's one of him and there's one of me and that's it."
Martin will play the father of Charlie's character, Charlie Goodson, a divorced dad and former-angry-guy-turned-therapist who now works to help others control their tempers. Charlie says it was easy to persuade his real-life dad to step up for the role.
"I heard that we were going to do an episode with my dad and I thought... Who's right for this?" Charlie joked.
The former Two and A Half Men actor announced the arrival of his dad on the show in spectacular fashion. Charlie marked the occasion by coming out from his Twitter retirement to promote the event. As well as gushing about how "amazing" it was to film with his father, Charlie believes the episode is the "best yet".
"It's on! My pop guest stars Thursday on Anger Management. Watch my dad show up as my dad Best yet!" Charlie gushed to his Twitter followers. "Anger Management Shot this scene a dozen times... Dad just kept cracking us up!! ... It was amazing to be working with my dad again!! (sic)"
