Charlie Sheen keen to return to work

4th February 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen may be back at work by the end of the month as he is getting help from the A-Team of rehab.

The troubled actor is currently receiving treatment at his home, following a string of problems. They culminated last week after he was hospitalised with severe abdominal pains, following an alleged two days of partying with porn stars. Those close to Charlie insisted he was suffering from a hernia.

Although he has been praised for agreeing to get help, his decision means production of his TV show Two and a Half Men has halted. The programme has around 200 crew members, many of who only make money when they work.

Charlies manager Mark Burg who is also an executive producer of the series insisted the star would be able to return to shooting before long yesterday. He claims speculation the actor will be in treatment for three months have been wildly exaggerated, adding Charlie has the best health professionals available treating him.

The end of February is what I've been told, he revealed to the Los Angeles Times. It's the A-Team of rehab and addiction specialists that we've assembled for Charlie to deal once and for all with his sobriety issue.

Mark added Charlie is keen to get through rehab and start working again quickly. He is aware he has impacted those involved with Two and a Half Men, so is anxious to get healthy fast.

Charlie would like to get back to work as soon as possible because he's concerned about the crew, he explained.

The 45-year-olds recent problems have come after months of speculation about his personal life. He started divorce proceedings against his third wife Brooke Mueller last year, although they had been separated following an argument during Christmas 2009 in which Charlie was accused of being violent.

He was also hospitalised in 2010 after he was reportedly found drunk and naked in a hotel room in New York. He was in the city on a family holiday with his ex-wife Denise Richards and their two young children. (C) Cover Media
