(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber thinks hes a funny guy and would love to make a comedy with Will Ferrell.
The 16-year-old Canadian musician became a global heartthrob when he shot to fame in 2009, and has revealed he is keen to explore ventures other than singing.
Justin adores clowning around, and considers himself to have the wit and comic timing necessary to appear in hit comedy movies alongside his idol Will who is known for starring in hilarious films such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
"We're getting a lot of scripts, yeah, but I really want to work with Will, and I think I'm a funny guy, he told USA Today.
Justin is extremely fond of Will, and remembers a time when they travelled along the red carpet together and the funny man got to experience the adulation Justin receives from his female fans. The teen singer was especially tickled by a comment Will made, in which he compared Justin to a messiah.
"Will went on Letterman that night and said, 'With all the screaming, it was like Jesus was following me.' He's too much," laughed Justin.
Justin has already explored his acting ambitions, having guest starred as a troubled teen in US crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation last year. He is set to make another appearance on the show this month. He also has his own movie - Justin Bieber: Never Say Never a documentary following the star on tour, which is set for release in the US on February 11. (C) Cover Media
