(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen has joked that he wants to "kill" Miley Cyrus.

The 45-year-old actor, who was fired from his role on hit television show Two and a Half Men earlier this year, responded on his social networking page to a tweet Miley had previously posted.

The actress-and-singer, who is famed for her role as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel sitcom of the same name, took to her Twitter page to update fans on the weird dreams she'd been having of late one of which included Charlie trying to end her life.

"@charliesheen woke up last night in hot sweats in my dream you were trying to kill me! #CharlieOnTheBrain (sic)," she wrote.

Charlie then responded with a cheeky retort. The American star is famed for his sarcastic humour and outspoken nature, and his Twitter response to Miley wasn't any different.

"wasn't a dream. xo RT @MileyCyrus (sic)," he jokingly responded.

Charlie has recently confirmed he will make his TV comeback with new sitcom Anger Management. (C) Cover Media
