(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen is reportedly in talks with a TV network about a new late night show.
The troubled actor has caused concern for his mental wellbeing over the last few months after he was hospitalised following an alleged two days of partying with porn stars. He then gave a series of bizarre interviews about people involved with his hit show Two and a Half Men, eventually resulting in him being fired.
Charlies flamboyant personality and love of catchphrases has made him a hit throughout the world and tickets to a planned stage show sold out quickly. He has repeatedly spoken of plans to return to TV and last week he seemingly made moves to do so.
According to TMZ, the 45-year-old met with executives from FOX on Thursday. The network is a competitor of CBS, which airs Two and a Half Men.
During the meeting, which lasted more than an hour, the group brainstormed about various possible projects for Charlie, including a late night show, reports the gossip website.
Among those at the meeting with Charlie were President of Alternative Entertainment Mike Darnell, President of FOX Sports David Hill and Peter Rice who is in charge of entertainment.
It is not thought a definite premise for a series was agreed upon, although all present from the network were apparently impressed with Charlies ideas.
Earlier this month, Charlie began streaming a new series called Sheens Korner on the internet, in which he discussed what was going on in his life and gave his views on various people and situations. There have also been rumours he may be planning a reality television series, which would follow his life including his unconventional living arrangement. The star is in a relationship with two women and they all live together in Los Angeles. (C) Cover Media
