The Academy award winning actress Charlize Theron turns 37 today. The South African actress, film producer and former model has stride a long way to be who she is today from being cast in a B grade film to becoming the most sought actress in the film and Glamour industry.

Theron caught people’s attention in Mighty Joe Young, and received much love more and more in each movie, especially as the deliciously evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman! Theron is perhaps best known for portraying the serial killer Aileen Wuornos  in the 2003 film Monster that won her an Academy Award for best actress and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. The actress received further Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for her Performances in North Country in 2005 and a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in Young Adult in 2011. Theron became a US citizen in 2007, while retaining her South African citizenship.
