There was a talk in the filmy circle that Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan' and Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam' would hit the screens on the same day, sometime in October this year.

When it was expected that this would pave way for the biggest ever clash at the box office, circles close to both the actors denied any such development.

'Kochadaiyaan's shoot is over and post production works are currently on. It will go on till November. So the film will hit the screens in December, most probably on Rajini's birthday (December 12),' say circles close to the Superstar.

While sources close to Kamal said: 'Viswaroopam is almost over but for a few days work in post production. The final print will be ready within next couple of weeks. So the film will hit the screens in September.'
