(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cheryl Cole says Katy Perry isnt really a girls girl as she is so strong and loud.

The Girls Aloud singer is a judge of UK talent programme The X Factor, alongside Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh. Dannii gave birth to her son Ethan in July, meaning she was unable to attend the initial audition stages of the contest this year. Instead, a number of big-name stars sat in for her.

Among them was Katy Perry, who Cheryl got along brilliantly with. Katy Perry was nice, but no, she replied, when asked if Katy was a girls girl. Shes very strong, shes got her own opinion, but I love her. Shes a bit more tomboyish in her way, shes a bit loud with a big personality.

Cheryl enjoyed working with different stars Geri Halliwell, Nicole Scherzinger and Pixie Lott also featured because it mixed things up. She is now mentoring the young female contestants, and is enjoying getting to know her acts.

Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am joined her for the judges houses section of the programme, where she had to choose which acts to put through for the lives shows. Cheryl and Will.i.am have been good friends since working on a song together in 2008, and she loves asking him for advice because hes always so honest.

Wills a friend, a good person. Hes always up, I dont know what he does but hes always around, always, she told BBC Radio 1. Hes very reliable and inspiring, I talk to him, I come off the phone and I feel like a different person. (C) Cover Media
