Cheryl Cole reveals skin tips for travelling

28th May 2011

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Cheryl Cole says she "smothers" oil on her face while travelling rather than keeping on her make-up.

The newly appointed American X Factor judge, who is a frequent traveler, has come up with a failsafe way of protecting her skin on planes after realising that keeping her make up on was bad for her complexion.

"I used to sit on the plane with all my make-up on the whole way, but now I realise I can't do this if I'm flying so much. It's so bad for your skin," she revealed to the British edition of Grazia."Now I'll smother on oil or serum once I'm on board. Actually, I'm going to ask the air hostesses what they use; they must know a few tricks to stop the flying from messing with your skin."

The 27-year-old found fame in British pop band Girls Aloud, and having done numerous shoots and promos, Cheryl knows what beauty looks suits her. The gorgeous brunette says she sticks to what she knows when it comes to her make-up must-haves.

"Lashes, liner and lip gloss - the three things I always, always do. I know what suits me and eyeliner is my thing," she revealed.

Cheryl has done shoots in the past that she wasn't too confident about. The singer has admitted that she now listens to her gut instinct.

"On shoots in the past I've let myself be compromised, let people talk me out of it, and then I've been disappointed with the pictures. It's the one thing I know I can't go without," she said. (C) Cover Media
