(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Chris Colfer's big screen debut will make audiences cry, according to his co-star.
The American actor is best known for playing flamboyant Kurt Hummel in the hit television series Glee, about a group of kids at high school who grow close as they all love singing.
The Golden Globe-winning star is appearing in the coming-of-age comedy Struck by Lightning, which he also wrote and produced.
Chris co-stars alongside Allison Janney in the upcoming movie, and the actress, who plays his mother in the picture, says his performance will move audiences.
"He plays a kid who refuses to go down. He's a kid that gets tortured by all the kids at schoolendlessly and mercilessly," she explained to E! Online. "But he refuses to disintegrate and it makes him stronger and he's sort of impenetrable.
"And it's also sort of heartbreaking. It will make you cry."
Allison, who is currently starring in movie The Help, says Chris is incredibly talented. The actress says the 21-year-old star has a bright future in Hollywood.
"He just so impressed me and so intimidated me with everything that he does," she gushed. "He writes children's books, he now writes movie and he acts in themhe's got a lot going on, that kid!"
Struck by Lightning tells the story of a young man who, after being struck and killed by lightning, recalls the way he blackmailed his fellow classmates into contributing to his literary magazine.
